Days 2 and 3...I think!

There is only one word to describe Iceland:

Beautiful!!!!

Geysers and Glaciers

After leaving Thingvellir, we head for Vik, a small town located in the South.  En-route we stopped at Geysir where we went to see some Geysers...Of course it was raining and we got soaked waiting for the geyser to 'blow' then I missed the shot and refused to wait another 20'.  We arrive in Vik and stayed at the "Volcano Hotel" where we booked a glacier hike adventure.  What a blast!!  Our guide (and operator of the hotel), Johannes, was absolutely wonderful and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.  In one area of the glacier we saw bubbles in the ice and he told us that the air in those bubbles was about 200 years old.  He also mentioned that when the vikings first came to Iceland, there were no glaciers.  The "Little Ice Age" came about after a series of volcanic eruptions.  Below are some pictures of our adventures in this area of Iceland.

  2. I was doing a bit of worship last night...(Tuesday about 10PM my time) thinking about your trip and praying for you both as well. I was playing the piano and I started hearing music acceding and descending. I started playing what I was hearing and it was like I was seeing in the spirit too, an opening... a "portal" so to speak. At first I thought is was just you two traveling into the heavenly realm, then I saw others going with you as well. Then...I started to see Angelic host coming and going, bringing things down and taking things up. Sooooo... I started playing and praying for all that I was hearing and seeing. It was really lovely! There were times that I would even stop playing and just watch what was going on...then I would join back in. Very Lovely!!! I will continue to pray... MORE LORD!!!
    OXOX to you both. <3
